Hi, Sharon:

I returned from my trip on Tuesday afternoon. With the help of friends there I made it around OK on the trip. But, clearly for future journies I'll need to go with friends. It's becoming too difficult to get around on my own.

I flew on EVA Air and Thai Airways during the trip and both treated me very well assisting me with a wheelchair and making my rollator available after landing. Thai Airways in particular was helpful to a fault! LOL. Quite a contrast to my treatment on American Airlines in December, which had me carry and stow my own carry-on luggage (while using a cane) and managed to break a wheel on my rollator.Dan U dao_nguu@...

Glad you had a good experience on the airline,Dan,but I was disturbed to hear of American's lack ofconcern and consideration. That's terrible.Don't mind me for asking, but is it the drop foot thatnecessitates the rollator and wheelchair?
