Guest guest
We took Cory in for his first dental check up today. He is 16 months old. He did wonderful! All the nurses and his doctor was so impressed that Cory let them " see his teeth " and brush them and that we are still nursing! They asked if hewas bottle fed or nursed and I said we are still nursing. His doctor siad " Impressive! " and after I told him that we co-sleep and Cory nurses on demand, he said the only thing he would suggest is after Cory " pops " off we should try to wash his teeth with a wet washcloth is Cory wouldn't be disturbed by that. I said we'd try but I wasn't too worried about " bottle rot " . I absolutely loved this office. They have a completely childproofed and fun room to wait in. Each child has their own nurse. The dental chairs are all lined up in a large room and toys are everywhere. The kids are encouraged to play and the nurses interact with them for a good 30-45 minutes or until they look comfortable. Then the doctor comes over and plays on the floor with the kids while getting them into the seat and in for the exam. Sooooo cool! Well, guess I will go...Cory sounds like he is ready for lunch to be over and settle in for some milks and a nap! ****************************************************************** - Proud mommy of Gilbert Cory Valdez (01-10-99) Visit us: http://members.home.net/gtvaldez/ Imagination Station Registered Family Home Childcare ******************************************************************
