Insurance information

Hi all

Just wanted to post some insurance inforamtion that I found out today. As you

all know Florida passed a bill last year that forces insuance companies to pay

for Speech, OT, and ABA for our kids up to a certin amount. I was tring to get

behavior Tharapy for my son and my insurance said the they do not have to cover

him because it is not a state policy but a federal policy (figures). So I

wanted to post this so that if anyone else is being told they can not get the

services this might be the reason why.

If anyone has tried to fight this please let me know what the outcome was. I

personally feel that if I live in the state of Florida it should not matter who

runs the policy it should all be covered.
