A year or so ago, we were vacationing in Edmonton, and some poor elementary

school kid in WA died when he got some peanuts or something and the

chaperones brought him back to the bus to lay down instead of calling 911,

or administering the epi-pen they actually had for him. IDIOTS!!!!

supposedly called her doctor to find out. And it doesn't matter how

much he has. She says if he gets just a drop or eats three cans of

pineapple it won't make a difference.

I told her it doesn't matter. Yes you can die from food allergies,

for example if his airway would swell up before anyone could do

anything about it. And I'm not about to find out if it takes some

pineapple juice or a number of pieces of pineapple. He is allergic

which means you don't give it to him. Some people just don't get it

and that's why he's not going back!
