Guest guest
, CO2 laser resurfacing has a much longer down time than any other form of laser treatment. Published articles showed impressive results of this modality in sculpting off the excess tissue in severe cases of rhinophyma. From my experience in seeing some of my patients who have had this procedure done (for their wrinkles - not for rhinophyma), it takes 1 week to 10 days for the acute oozing & crusting to heal. Then it takes between 3 months to a year or more for the erythema to subside. I imagine that for rosaceans, a longer rather than shorter duration is more likely. Dr. Sy or Nase I was wondering what kind of downtown there is with this procedure, as I hear it's almost a curative measure for the growth of the nose, and even destroys some of the cells responsible for the rosacea as well. Any input would be great. > > >
