Guest guest
This was how I responded to Mr. Tynan's initial response. This was sent on Jan 15. I just got off the phone with Mr. Tynan's assistant who was familiar with my correspondence. I asked her to pass along that a response would be appreciated. Steve Dear Mr. Tynan, Thank you for your response. I fully appreciate that you were appointed only recently, and that this occurred before your appointment. I have heard you quoted as saying that you plan to run for your School Board seat when the current term expires. My question was and still is: Please advise how the Broward County School System plans to address ESE students fairly after this re direction of funds. My question related to what the District plans to do, not it's done " and if it comes up again I'll look at it. " Am I represented on the School Board or not? Are you of the opinion that ESE education provided by Broward County Schools is " appropriate " as in IDEA and " secure, uniform and high quality " as in the Florida Constitution? Does Broward County Schools offer any of the millions of dollars, any concession, any bone for improvements in ESE education to offset the sting of these redirected funds? Our kids funding is already redirected at the school level, now the District is doing it. A reply to my question would be appreciated. Thank you, > > I like how the School Board Member says he will look at it " IF it comes up again. " > > Wha? >
