Guest guest
Powder of some type will definitely help with the makeup smearing. I just tried the tinted ZincO without it and found that it felt sticky on my face all day long--ugh. You may want to gently press it on with cotton makeup pads. BTW, I don't know if anyone has tried theatrical makeup houses for makeup, brushes, etc. In my former life, I used to be an actress. Theatrical makeup is extremely high quality and very pure, because large amounts of it are used by actors night after night for years. Everyone on Broadway and on TV would look like a wreak if the makeup was irritating. Another advantage is that you can usually find wide ranges of colors of everything from foundations to shadows, etc. Some foundations will be too heavy; others will be lighter. You can also buy different colors and blend them successfully. Usually a wide range of brushes and other application supplies are sold alongside the makeup. Just a thought.... Guest guest
There is a place in NYC called The Make Up Center. I've had makeovers here and they sell their stuff to the theatres in NYC. However, I can not use this stuff anymore. It's too heavy. The only makeup I can use now is Merle Norman. It contains Zinc and SPF15. I may try Dr. Sy's products since I've been hearing postivie feedback. Fran sweetieroo@... wrote: Powder of some type will definitely help with the makeup smearing.
