Makeup Smearing and Makeup Alternatives

Powder of some type will definitely help with the makeup smearing. I just

tried the tinted ZincO without it and found that it felt sticky on my face

all day long--ugh. You may want to gently press it on with cotton makeup

pads.

BTW, I don't know if anyone has tried theatrical makeup houses for makeup,

brushes, etc. In my former life, I used to be an actress. Theatrical makeup

is extremely high quality and very pure, because large amounts of it are used

by actors night after night for years. Everyone on Broadway and on TV would

look like a wreak if the makeup was irritating. Another advantage is that

you can usually find wide ranges of colors of everything from foundations to

shadows, etc. Some foundations will be too heavy; others will be lighter.

You can also buy different colors and blend them successfully. Usually a

wide range of brushes and other application supplies are sold alongside the

makeup. Just a thought....

I use Lancome's Pallette Pro as a concealer and foundation. It makes my

complexion look smooth and clear. I do not use powser at all as it cakes up

and looks terrible!
