Hi ,

Do a search for or A in the archives and read her stuff on the

chakras...it is very interesting that where the chakras are located also

aligns with the endocrine system...this thought jumped out at me as I was

going to sleep last night...needless to say I was awake for longer than I

wanted to be thinking about it!

I agree with this wholeheartedly - when I was hyper in 2000, I had

discolouration of my gums and hands, was SO SO thirsty ALL the time (and I

can't remember the other symptoms) but the endo then got all excited cos he

thought it might be 's so I was tested for that and thankfully it was

found that I did not have 's.

However, since I have come more into normal thyroid range again, all the

discolouration has gone and whatever the other symptoms were have also

abated.

I might be thinking wrong here, but I can't help thinking that all the

" normal ranges " of the blood tests that we have done, whilst wonderful and

useful for treating us once a disease has taken hold; do not indicate the

approach of diseases - I am really sure I had GD well before it was

identified in my blood tests... they were all normal for about a year, but I

felt SO ill. I think in years to come there will be much greater

understanding of the whole endocrine system and how it works together, and

consequently earlier detection of approaching diseases... hope so anyway

Come to think of it, I had a hard-of-hearing episode a few months back, and

I was hypO at that time. I'd forgotten about it, because it went away. But

I remember at the time thinking I was losing my hearing awfully soon! It's

nice to know why that happened, now.

Jody,

Do you have a time frame to reference? I did a search on A., and

there are tons of posts. I didn't get anything when I searched on chakras,

except your post. I'm very interested in this, but can't read through 100s

of posts to find it. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Holly,

I would have to say sometime between Feb. of 2000 and October of 2000. I

know the posts are there...there are 2 large ones from on chakras.

After hubby goes to work I will try and help you look for them.
