could someone tell me how to get my son started on iodine?

I asked about preventative steps to take for my 17month old and iodine was

suggested, can you tell me how I would go about getting/implementing an iodine

protocol for my typical baby and my recovering 3yr old w/ ASD? I've never heard

of it and don't even know where to buy it let alone give it.
