Sounds like you are taking the bull by the horns and addressing problems. I

too have asthma and shortness of breath which gets in the way of exercising.

I am happy to hear that your heart is in good condition though and that you

can continue with your progress. Be brave and know we and God are with you.

Go Champ!!!

Love, Jeannette

Oh no, Tess. I think it's probably time for the IV antibiotics, either

in the hospital or at home. You've been through this long enough, my

friend. Time to kick some infection butt!

Seriously, please let us know what happens. I love you and will say a

special prayer right now.

I am going to ask about the meds later today. Thanks for your concern,

my friend.

Love and hugs,

Carol

My temp went higher last night, and some coughing has returned. I'm

seeing the Dr. at 3:45. I'm really tired.

Tess - Sweetie I agree with Carol...time to agent 40D ( or something like that)

working for yourself - LOL. Tell Doc this is what is necessary.

Tess, that is a most uncomfortable position for someone with RA, isn't it?

When I had my CT scan, the tech didn't make me hold mine straight back. I

just kind of curled them around my head. But my scan took maybe 5 minutes

instead of 20-30.

I hope you get a good report. How long before you'll know the results?

I'm keeping you in my prayers. I am glad your day had some positive aspects to

it. The weight, the walk, the inches........ The situation with your son will

work out and I know you will do what is best there. Lot's of love, hugs, and

good thoughts. Jan +/:=)

There are so many issues and complications with my son, I went into a

1st...Em was not happy, and I worry about my girls. They are wonderful,

strong young women, but have vulnerabilities from days gone by. Prayers

for my family would be so good.

I went to the hospital for my CT. They had to use a small vein for the

contrast dye, but I was ok. My shoulders are so painful and

stiff...they were already flaring but having to hold my arms over my

head for 20 or 30 minutes made it worse. I had such a fear that I'd get

" stuck " in the CT cause of my size...the tech laughed and said, " Honey,

you're not THAT big!. " That was nice to hear. But I still kept my eyes

closed the whole time as I was afraid if I saw the donut thingy right

above me I might panic. I sang little songs to Jesus, in my head of

course, and visualized people I love cheering me on! They were very

sweet to me there.

I wrote that I thought I'd gained some weight, but I am the same and I

am MOST grateful for that. Before the pneumonia I had gotten to the

place where I could walk from my car in the parking structure all the

way to the Dr's office without stopping. I did stop today, but honestly

did better than I thought I would. Something else, my weight is the

same, but I'm loosing inches from the upper-body strengthening

exercises. I'm PRAYING I get the fever-fatigue-breathing problem

figured out so I can back to more exercise. I think I'll start loosing

weight again, then.

The fatigue is relentless...if I don't get 2 good naps a day plus my

night-time sleep, I feel awful. I see my rheumy next weekand am a

little afraid to tell him I am not going back on Remicade and want to at

least try antibiotic therapy. I also see my pcp, but hope she will call

with the CT resuts before next week.

Thank you all for your love & prayers. I cannot tell you how much

strength and hope you all give me.

All my love...

Good luck, Tess. I'm sorry that your son surprised and upset you and

your daughters like that. I'll pray that things go smoothly.

I'm glad that you got the CT scan over with. Sorry it wasn't very

comfortable. Now if only the results will help solve the mystery. How is

that fever today? Are the chills still there? What about the lymph

nodes? The right-sided pain?

Great that you still are working toward a stronger, fitter you! Inches

matter more than the scale anyway.

"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." - Caras

RID (Really Important Dog)

Priscilla McMahon

January 10, 1994 to June 17, 2005

Went in peace today at 8:15am through euthanasia. and I were there petting her until she fell asleep. She was in discomfort the day before, but not yet in pain. Hopefully, we took her to the end at the right time for her.

Dr. Hoffman said she was the sweetest easiest going dog she ever met. They let her put the needle in and she went to sleep, they laid her down and she was out quickly. We held her and kissed her and told her we loved her. Thanks to her and to Dr. Sherman for keeping this special girl alive the extra four years since she was diagnosed with Cushings, among other disorders.

Hopefully, she is with Elvis now!

Thanks for your support. We will be basket cases for awhile.

Aylene and , too!

Hi Gretchen,

Great to hear that you've found someone who is digging into these

issues. Hang in there and keep the faith.

Gretchen, I don't think it has to be yeast. I think brain fog is affected by more than yeast, because it happens with monthly hormonal fluctuations. Personally I think it could be associated with they thyroid, adrenal and/or reproductive hormones. If you watched the video with Dr. on adrenal exhaustion, he said it takes about 2 years for adrenal fatigue to be overcome, and that sounds like what happened to me. " Today "

I may never see tomorrow; there's no written guarantee

And things that happened yesterday belong to history.

I cannot predict the future, I cannot change the past,

I have just the present moments, I must treat it as my last.

I must use this moment wisely for it soon will pass away,

and be lost forever, as part of yesterday.

I must exercise compassion, help the fallen to their feet,

Be a friend unto the friendless, make an empty life complete.

The unkind things I do today may never be undone,

And friendships that I fail to win may nevermore be won.

I may not have another chance, on bended knees to pray,

and I thank God with a humble heart for giving me this Day.
