Guest guest
Hi Pam- When I was discussing it with my husband, he asked if it was a case study (based on one case) and I replied that it was. He said that you generally can't go by case studies. It's of interest but it's not a scientific study (which I already knew but it seems like medicine is much more willing to accept questionable studies than science is) Take care, - > , > Sorry to hear this time did not work. Guest guest
Hi Jody- It's in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism so I'd think you'd be able to get it at a hospital medical library or any large university library. Online you can get it at Pubmed or Medline but you have to pay for it (or J Clin End & Metab). Take care, > Hi , > >>>I forgot the most important part! Guest guest
It's really not that easy, is it? I've been on ATDs for 6 months now, and I've been hyper/hypO/hyper too. It's frustrating as h**ll. I hate to go through summer like this, as I am so active, and I'm afraid this summer is going to be a bust. My boyfriend is buying a cruiser, so we plan to spend every weekend at the lake and play golf and go fishing at his neighbor's farm lake during the week. It won't be much fun if I feel like crap all the time. Plus, I'm really wanting to run a 10K this fall, but I can't start training until I get these levels under control. This last bout of hyper has gotten me weak again. BTW, I broke down and bought the blood type diet book. I read most of it last night, and it really does seem like something worth trying. The theory makes sense to me. So, I'm going to start easing into it. Hopefully this will heal my diseased body! It is nice to know that we're not alone here, though, isn't it! Holly Re: RAI or ATD withdrawal? Hi Sue, I thought the same thing. My doc (not endo) said, give it a few weeks to a couple of months and you will be feeling fine... Well, after giving me to an endo, because my levels were way high, I have been hyper, hypo and now hyper again. I am just looking for a break.. sigh... but this groups is so wonderful and supportive. I just like to read all the posts and know for a fact that I -We are not alone in all of this crazy mess. I hope you find that you will be feeling better soon.
