Questions about psychics and energy workers

I recently worked passed my fears and visited our local psychic store

and paid for a session with the most talented one on the list. I

don't know whether to believe she has gifts or not, how do I know?

She does; chakra balancing, energy healing with her harp, past lives

and intuitive readings,channel guide,masters and angels.

I've been entombed in deciding whether to stay in my marriage. She

told me that my fear of taking care of myself even if I only get

disability was less painful than what I was enduring in my marriage.

(Someone told me she was too big on womens rights instead of just

using gifts)

She crossed the table and put her face inches away from mine and

said, " You have to participate in your life, do you hear me " I sat

there staring back knowing what she said was truth. I felt like I

needed to hear it maybe a million times more to break the numbness. I

didn't feel anything until I asked her if I should end my marriage

and she asked me the same question back. I started bawling she asked

me what I was crying for I couldn't even get the words out. She said

you have to leave don't you? I said yes but I love him. She told me

it was not my job to heal him and teach him. She then used a harp and

had me play it. She said my chakras were extremely stuck and acted as

if she had never seen anything like it, that scared me. When we were

done she seemed bouncy as if she had gained energy. She put her hands

on my face, kissed me and said, " You have a very sweet soul and you

have a healing angel named Grace with you " . I've never heard of a

healing angel and I don't know whether to believe it. She offered me

15 minute harp sessions " chakra balancing " for 25 dollars to start

with because I have so many issues. I got in my van and had anxiety

attacks for a week. I guess moving out of regular christiantiy is

hard. I don't know whether to see her again or not.

Do energy/light workers always charge fees? I know anyone that offers

a service deserves to be paid but I can't afford the amount of work

it appears I need. Also how do I know if a person has ligit gifts and

is not just someone who has worked through their own issues in life,

IE; abusive relationships and is using their own lessons and applying

it to me? She told me about her own marriage and background during

our sessions. At some point I felt like she was acting more like a

close friend.

Any suggestions?

best thing you can do..is to read any metaphysical self help books and alot of meditation..most times they can not tell you anything you do not already know...which is why some of the things she said you know to be true...because you already know :)we are all physic so...maybe you want to work on becoming one yourself...you seem very intuitive and don't need to pay for sessions if you can't or don't want to ----- Original Message ----From: dovetouched <hisalone@...>To:

Hi Dove

Energy workers and people like that can be useful. It is all

useful...the fear you are experiencing may be a cocoon to work your

way through so the butterfly can emerge. I am all too familiar with

panic and anxiety attacks. The best tools I was given was using

positive affirmations..but you have to KNOW they are true

for instance..instead of saying " I am well and perfect in health "

Start with something your mind can believe...for instance, " I am

getting healthier and better every day " I used post it notes,

switched my watch to the other arm to remember to pat myself on the

back for the small improvements I was making, (which are not as small

as we think they are and we should celebrate each time we make a step

forward!)and a lot of other things to stop my fear patterns..and see

the positive steps slowly one by oneuntil they were habits

Hang in there and keep doing all the right things..it will come. My

house looked like a Christmas tree of positive post it notes for a

long time..but the fear subsided as I reprogrammed myself to eliminate

old negative thinking patterns....the spiritual growth burst ocurred

when I got that part out of the way.

You sound like you are really working hard and doing everything you

can..it will pay off..posting here and getting the insights of this

wonderful family of spiritual beings is another great thing you are

doing for yourself..don't forget to tell yourself how wonderful you

are for taking all those steps!
