Guest guest
Although I am now on Urso, I did take the generic Actigall and I still have some left. And yes, they are as sticky and hard to swallow as the real gem. Baudoux-Northrup __________________________________________________

Penny, I concur with that the generic capsule 300 mg are like the brand name Actigall, though I never found them hard to swallow. Though they can be hard to keep down, especially when they give you really weird Actigall burps- Ick! in Files/high dose urso on the Yahoo site there is a paper pointed out. It indicates that the bioavailability of Urso is higher than that of Actigall. I asked my doc to change me to Urso and I'm happier, even if it does cost more. Guest guest
I agree that the generic ursodiol is similar to Actigall. I always felt the gel capsules were easier to swallow than other pills of the same size, so I never had an issue with swallowing either version.
