Something about how if you are hyper or hypo at a young age you end up being more empathic than the majority of the population and that that 'gift' stays with you even after RAI, or replacement.... after the 'condition' is corrected... Same sort of thing as 'hurt' children wanting to be carers when they are adults (Alice talks about this in her books). I am write handed and left footed. My older brother and younger sister are both left handed and both Hypo. I am Hypo. Our father and his father were Hypo. Mom had no thyroid problems, but died of cancer. All siblings have some degree of ADD. Sister's four kids all have ADD, but only the daughter has Hypo.
