years. " The cow objected, " What? This kind of tough life you want me to live

So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the dog. God said to the dog, " What you are

well i went to work this morning and i just feel awful. my ulcer is acting

up. i feel dizzy, my eyes are dry and feel wierd. called the nurse. i left

work at 8:30. called the nurse again and said look. i feel like crap. i have

been back to work part time for a month and don't think i have made it 5 days

in a row yet, we need to re-evaluate. betty at work thinks i should go

downstairs and tell them to get my desk in order, that this is the reason,

but the way i feel the standup desk would not help. human resources can not

help me with my disease. i know she is just trying to help. i am also going

to call a lawyer today about the ssd. i can't survive on 12 hrs per week.

that is what will happen when i run out of vacation hours. i don't know how i

am going to do this. i am ballin my eyes out. boy don''t i feel better now!!!

wish it was that easy. maybe i have to cry in human resources.

Kathy,

I am so sorry that you are feeling so rotten and that work is just too much.

I hope you did call the lawyer and that he/she can help you with your

disability. From how you describe your daily life, I don't think the new

desk is the answer either.

That's bad news about the computer, too. What did the guy say the problem

is? Now what?

Ron and others,

I checked out this site you gave in answer to someone's request for

help. My father has lymphoma. He is 72 and was in excellant

health. He had radiation and later some chemo. The cancer appears

to have gone into the brain now, apparently the central nervious

system. They are started radiation again for these areas. He is

very sick, so they have to go ahead with the radiation, but I am

fearful that this is not going to help him for long.

I read all I can and I get so confused as to which things to try.

Do the things mentioned on this site really work, or is someone just

trying to make money? Does Essiac really help? Does the 714x

really work? I will get them tomorrow, but want to know if these

are hoaxes. Can anyone answer that? I realize everything doesn't

work for everyone, but I would like to hear what the most promising

things to try would be.

thanks

Hi,

Have you considered The Burzynski Clinic in Houston? He specializes in

brain tumors. Unfortunately, it is expensive.

May I also suggest, and I know this is redundant, but you may wish to

check with Genesis Laboratories to see what they have to say.

http://www.genesislaboratories.com

http://www.polymva.net as well. Dr. Sinatra highly recommends

this.

Dear Micky, they do have a Spiderman ornament. You can find it on Ebay

under Hallmark. My husband loved the movie too, but thank goodness we don't

have any super heroes on our tree...unless you count Buzz lightyear..lol.

Glad to see you are sounding better. Take care, Fran

Hi all

Just a quick line to thank everyone who helped me through a tough patch !

I

know I was sounding very depressed and I was, but it was only a two/three

day thing I was just getting my frustrations and anger out of me (I'm

sorry

to use you guys to do that ) I'm feeling a lot better now and the humour

has

returned to my mind (although very hard to find in the first place I grant

you) I'm still in pain but the funny thing is I can cope with the pain,

it's

just that crushing feeling when something else goes wrong that hit me for

six! Especially after having felt so well recently.

Good to see has made a return and I hope the local hospital looked

after you. Were you able to sneak in any Maccie d's? Or some Chinese food?

I know the food is not exactly top notch at those exclusive hospitals that

we use on the NHS. Their Idea of gourmet food would be like Burrells

feast on I'm a celeb! Hope you are feeling better

Sorry to hear Fran has had probs with the decorations. I didn't know there

was even such a thing as a star Trek tree I must see if they have

Spider-man

ones? Me and my kids would love that !

Ps: thanks for the hugs

anytime ol' boy - just such a wonderful thing to hear your humour

once again - you've had me in stitches for the last 10 minutes....

that's the spirit - and hugs are free and always feel good - i'll

cyber you a whole bunch so when you are feeling down, you can just

pull one out, ok?

bottom line, we all understand and we all have these spells - it's a

crappy disease none of us asked for, but that's what so great about

this board - everyone goes through them, and everyone cares.... we

hold someone up when they're down, and in turn are held up when it's

our turn.

great to hear from you,

Dear Micky, Your email made me remember the first time I took my youngest

daughter with me to vote. She was maybe 4 or 5 years old and as we walked

into the voting building, I told her that not too long ago, women couldn't

vote. She looked up at me with so much surprise and right in front of a

older male registration person, said, " That's the dumbest thing I've ever

heard. We all know that girls are so much smarter than boys. No wonder the

world is such a mess! " . Typical me, I just starting laughing because I had

never told her the " world was a mess " , I guess she heard that from her

grandparents or something. Well the elderly gentleman didn't find it that

funny.

We still get a laugh out of that one. I'm glad your girls know how smart

they are. You sound like a wonderful Dad! I'm so glad to see the laughter

back in your emails Micky. Take care, Love, Fran

Emma,

I have been going thru hell. I have been sick for 7 years , but don't let that

scare you. I was sick that long because I did not realize it was candida. I had

candida before back in 1992. I got rid of it for years and was doing well. When

it struck again symptoms were no where near the same. So I did not recognize

them. I suffered until I realized it was candida. Eventually I restricted my

diet and felt better but not 100%. I knew I had to do more to get rid of it, but

I delayed thinking I would get around to it. Well, over this past summer it got

much much worse. I have basically been debilitated all summer. I had burning

sensation in my face and head, sometimes felt like sunburn other times felt like

someone pouring acid on my brain. I was disorientated and then the intense

anxiety kicked in. My heart racing and burning would make me jump out of bed in

a panic that lasts for hours. I have not really gone far from the house since

summer. the symtpoms just scare the hell out of me. Been to drs. had blood work

blah blah , no one ever finds anything wrong. Recently had candida blood tests,

it confirmed I have it. After much research I found that candida causes

malabsorbtion especially of magnesium. Once I started taking vitamins I have

noticed a drastic improvement. I definitely needed to take extra calcium.

magnesium, it really really helped. Although I am not 100% better, I about 75 %

- 80 % better. Attacks are infrequent now and much less severe. Although the

fear of having it come back still has me scared. I am depressed and I cry a lot.

But I am fighting it.

If you have candida and you have symptoms, you might need to do research on the

symptoms. Sometimes they are caused by secondary problems such as mineral

deficiencies.

What are your symptoms?

Life

,

I could really relate to your post about having a great life to live, when

you are well. I'm the same, I finally got into University, (my lifelong

dream, I was 18 when I was accepted, now 19), I just got my motorbike

license and a brand new little scooter, I had booked a holiday, and many,

many plans... Then I got sick! :-( A nightmare it is really. But I'm

thankful that I have a life to live for, in the possibility of getting

better. It would be truly awful * for me* to be sick and without a hopeful

life to get well for, so to speak.

I'm in a tough spot, and have alot of doubt about ever being well, but I

keep searching for answers.

Please pray for me, anyone reading this who has faith.

All the best, what are your symptoms?

~Emma

When I was eight or so I had Hong Kong Flu and was given broad

spectrum antibiotics for a month or so. Following this had chronic

allergies all through my teen years. During university, Kansas

University issued a mandatory MMR shot and would withhold our grades if

we didn't take it. I was worried about this injection as I was already

sensitive/physically weak. I put off the shot until the last week when

a final notice came.

I didn't react overly bad to it initially. Had a flu for several days

and then couldn't digest meats. I became vegetarian and a carb addict

feeding the yeasts. I believe I had candida growing up but it didn't

become problematic until the shot...which probably had thermerol

(mercury based preservative). I've had so many sympoms I really didn't

know what I had until an electronic scan of my body came up with fungus.

The reason I'm responding to your post Emma is that you may have had

candida for years prior to college and then workload stress triggered

the situation. I'm amazed that things were going so well and then viola.

Anyway

I wish you well and that every day gets better and better.

The scan was called the Quantum Xrroid developed by Dr . I had

it done in BC. The woman doing the scans has recently died

of cancer though.

Anyway, when the computer picked up fungus I was a little surprised.

I wasn't used to thinking of candida in that way but rather just as

an annoying bacteria in the colon. Apparently if candida is around

for a while (likes you too much) it'll send roots through the bowel

walls and send off spores throughout the body. For me they have

repopulated in my sinuses or nasal cavities...so if I eat things with

sugar or vinegar this area will get partially inflamed and I'll taste

fungus type sensations as the tonsils and nasal area release their toxins.

A little more about the scanning program.

I believe it is based on Rife Frequency Therapy.

The basic idea is every substance has a specific frequency. If you can

tune into the exact frequency of the disease you have and zap it with

this frequency the frequency waves collapse and you help remove the

disease. I believe you have to be persistant with this technique as

the effect is somewhat temporary.

You mentioned mercury in your post Cecilia. Aside from mercury

fillings we can get mercury poisoning from our mothers during pregnancy

if her mouth is full of fillings. Immunizations apparently have stopped

using thermerol since 1998 yet this preservative has been linked with

autism etc. Some old paints used to have lead and even mercury in

them. Apparently even removing mercury fillings is a high risk

procedure as well as putting them in. This may explain why there is

such a high suicide rate amongst dentists due to this blood poisoning.

According to Matsen he mentions in his book Eating Alive II that we

aren't able to sustain health with high levels of mercury in the body.

So the candida diet will work temporarily until Mercury is removed.

Lately I've been taking MSM Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane to help bind the

mercury in the body. One day I'd like to try chelation therapy. Has

anyone done chelation in this group and would like to share their results?

Willem,

Do you mean each time you post? Or, just after you joined (in case you

joined recently)?

Sometime in the last three weeks or so I started receiving those messages

several times a day. Then they stopped.

Maybe it did coincide with when I was posting ond this list.

We'll see if it happens again after this post.

Take care,

Yup! The second I sent that mistaken reply with no message I immediately

received the bogus message from Sun.

Thanks, Willem --

Very interesting!

For most of my early years (up until I had my tonsils removed) I had minor

allergies, and on occasion, would spit out something that had collected on

my tonsils, and that would taste bad. Not moldy, just bad -- I think in

those days before the candida showed up the material was probably solidified

nasal drainage. (I remember taking a sniff one time and thinking that those

particles smelled like someone's breath who had never brushed their teeth.

LOL)

When I finally figured out that I had food collecting and molding on the

backsides of my tonsils, in 1989, it was after I had rubber-banded a couple

of large cotton balls to the end of a pencil (the eraser end), dipped the

cotton balls into mouthwash (containing no alcohol), and started swabbing.

It amazed me at what broke off in the process ... those food particles with

mold on them.

I can't imagine that in your case, you could get rid of the candida that

line your nasal passages without taking some kind of antifungal that works

through the bloodstream. And I take it that you have them in the bowel, as

well.

One of my biggest problems is dealing with candida drunkenness after being

exposed to strong chemical odors, these days. Am increasing my intake of

magnesium, calcium and potassium, in hopes that those minerals will help.

Thanks!

Cecilia

Amina, is BBA Bachelor of Business Administration?

I thought you were studying literature, since you say you write poetry.

That's awesome.

I know your condition and situation are a bit different, but we all share

the pain of scoliosis, and that's a lot, right?!

Please be sure and tell us how your MRI goes on the 15th, ok?

Take care.

Sharon
