Guest guest
I have pondered and meditated on the question... "Is love a want or a need?" and honestly conclude that is a most wonderful gift and without a doubt, a need. Lust is a want, dirty, nonvirtius, but love is pure, a sacred bond between people and it can never be destroyed, not even by death. It expands, fills the heavens. We think in the concept of the body which has so many limitations (or at least it thinks so). We perceive that when someone we love dies, it is now only a memory, grief, longing and sadness. They aspire that they die also to regain the bond and unity shared here physicaly, but there is no seperation and no distance. It never is lost, we are simply fooled by the body and the mind trapped here on this spinning planet in eternal space. Our senses are fooling us because we automaticly grasp the silliness that because we cannot see or touch anyone anymore, it is gone. This is so simple for me to see but for most, impossible. Love is a wonderful tool, in that we bond with another and the rest of the world becomes a dharma lesson; how to equally love all others as much as we do a certain being. Do you see the picture of expansion here? Not only does the power of love eternally expand, but others are being added to it also, making it larger and stronger. We are human and cannot pick up a mountain, but... the universe has made us perfectly in that we can affirm and share love with another, seen as a pebble, and it will itself become the mountain. Even a God "needs" angels, or whatever name of assistance one wishes to give. Those who choose not to experience this are simply yet profoundly letting the most precious jewel of life and all creation slip through our fingers. We are human, so there wil come the mistakes and hurtful events of out of focus relationships which we think are crystal clear. We live and learn, exercising our emotions and reactions and if we become blesed with love in the pure true nature, we are therefore more appreciative. See; there is no way one can dispute how everything works. There are no mistakes made by the universe, only trial and error by people.
