DR. GEIER HAS A MD AND A PhD IN GENETICS FROM GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY. HE IS A FELLOW OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF MEDICAL GENETICS AND IS A FELLOW OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF EPIDEMIOLOGY. DR. GEIER WILL BE SPEAKING ON THE TOPIC OF ELEVATED MALE HORMONES IN MANY CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH AUTISM. HE WILL DISCUSS WHY THESE HORMONES ARE ELEVATED AND HOW THIS HORMONAL INVOLVEMENT LEADS TO AGGRESSION, MOOD SWINGS, INCREASED STRENGTH, EARLY SIGNS OF PUBERTY AND HEIGHTENED SEXUALITY.
