Guest guest
I live in Indiana and I was successful on getting a "passive" helmet paid for by medicaid (Hoosier Healthwise). My daughter had severe brachy (flat across the back) and also had torticollis. I just wonder if is based on the severity and whether or not you get a passive or active (main difference is cost). I am not sure. But I was successful and I didn't pay for the helmet out of my pocket. Becky S.Madison, INMommie to Sierra Cheyenne11-16-04 Tort & BrachyCOPC Helmet 6/28 Graduated !!!! Guest guest
I don't know if hers is passive or active. What is the difference? She has a mild case of plagio. When talking to Cranial Tech on the phone they said if her measurements are severe enough they will go ahead and submit to Medicaid but I'm sure hers isn't severe enough. > > I live in Indiana and I was successful on getting a " passive " helmet paid > for by medicaid (Hoosier Healthwise). Guest guest
My son was on Medicaid, and they paid 100% for a STARband, but would not pay any for a DOC. We are in GA. As a foster child she is on Medicaid (we live in Texas) and we learned that Medicaid will not pay. Has anyone here been in our position and if so what avenues did you explore for assistance in payment? I appreciate your time! Autos. Looking for a sweet ride? Guest guest
Hello , I also live in Texas and when my son Korben had to wear the DOCband, he was on Medicaid and they paid 100% but that was in 2001! So they must have changed since then, but good luck and i hope you the best!
