I live in Indiana and I was successful on getting a "passive" helmet paid for by medicaid (Hoosier Healthwise). My daughter had severe brachy (flat across the back) and also had torticollis. I just wonder if is based on the severity and whether or not you get a passive or active (main difference is cost). I am not sure. But I was successful and I didn't pay for the helmet out of my pocket.

I don't know if hers is passive or active. What is the difference?

She has a mild case of plagio. When talking to Cranial Tech on the

phone they said if her measurements are severe enough they will go

ahead and submit to Medicaid but I'm sure hers isn't severe enough.

My son was on Medicaid, and they paid 100% for a STARband, but would not pay any for a DOC. We are in GA.
