Guest guest
I have just begun participating in a clinical study of the effects of cyclosporine drops on dry eye. This treatment has been used for years in animals and has been extremely successful. Cyclosporine is an antirejection drug commonly used for transplants. The concept is that dry eye is caused by an inflammatory, autoimmune process. The study is a placebo study with half the participants receiving Refresh drops and half receiving Cyclosporine. After three months the study opens and everyone receives Cyclosporine for the following nine months. Wish me luck! Sherry
