So far, we have had NO tsunamis, as the quakes were either too far inland(Milpitas, 2) or very deep under the ocean floor, 1. However, as the glaciersand ice and perma-frost melt at both poles, all oceans world-wide are rising.Now, then the tide goes OUT here, it goes way, way out, and when it comesin, it comes rather far in. I had wondered which fault was, well....at fault. I always listen to the news to see if a tsunami warning has been issued. We were very, very aware of earthquakes (had many) in Alaska. People in my area of Alaska are also very aware of tsunami danger because there had been a major one with a quake there in '64. In fact, it was the largest quake ever recorded in North America at 9.2. The tsunami was devastating.
