Is it possible that you have the band on too tight? When you put on

the band, just gently " tap " the velcro closed, don't pull it tight.

I do tap it and make sure not to pull. I think the problem is that

the band is big and curved in the front so when the band falls back

a bit, it might pull on her skin a bit because of the angle?

Sandy,

Have you mentioned your concerns to your ortho? That shouldn't be

happening. I've never heard of this happening before. Let us know what

your ortho says.

Hi Sandy,

na used to have an angry eye look with her band. One of her key

holding points was right above the eyebrow. I asked about it every

adjustment. It correct her forehead wonderfully :)

If it bothers you ask the ortho about it. Ask every visit if you

must. I would be a little worried about the black eye. Probably

worth a call before your next adjustment visit. Kiersten also has a

low sitting band. It drives me crazy! But her flatness is low i nthe

back so there isn't much to hold the band in proper position so it

tilts foreward. We readjust and deal with it. They think she had a

little bit of correction in her first week :)

If you go to my websote you can pics of the girls in their bands.

na wore hers Oct 03 - Feb 04 and Kiersten just got hers 1/10 so

look in the photo albums for those months.

Sandy,

You said that Sydney has some redspots, are they in this area? If they

are then call the ortho and talk about it. It is so hard not to worry

about every little thing at the beginning. That's normal, you're a

mom, lol. Sometimes the bands will pull on an area here or there

depending on how they are laying on it or moving on it, but most times

it does not pull too hard. Remember you can always call CT if you are

concerned anytime.
