Hi,I have been reading about blood vessels as being the prime source

of problem behind rosacea.I also heard that low dose accutane works

until you stop using it because it merely suppresses the disease...or

does it actually remove blood vessels?I was on it once..but it didn't

help me because i was flaking like mad and some of my pores actually

got bigger temporarily..mayber because of the seb derm i didn't know

i had.i'm currently on metrogel/tetracyline..i was also advised to

use vitamin A gel in the evening for my pores/acne as i have clogged

pores and oily skin...although i heard this is not great for rosacea.

for the seb derm..my derm gave me 0.5%hydrocortisone/salacylic

acid/sulfur combo whenever it's needed(not long term). i'm trying not

to use it a lot. i noticed a lot less flakiness after using it but no

real improvement with redness.I really don't have much faith using my

current medications..eg. metrogel..has anyone actually gotten

improvement with this stuff? cause i don't see any.recently i seen an

ad in the yellow pages(i live in toronto, canada)claiming to have

treatments for rosacea..i'm not sure it's photoderm..i'm guessing

it's laser related..but i'll probably call and ask.I'm really sick of

this disease as it's made the last 5 years of my high school/early

university a living yell.should i stick to my current regimen or seek

out photoderm if there are any around? or maybe accutane again?(this

time low dosage, as i was being treated as if i had acne the first

time i used it).Any help is greatly appreciated.thank you

NEwton
