Guest guest
OK- so now that I'm completely wrong, I get carpal tunnel syndrome late in pregnancy, I usually use Ice packs, it's just because of water retention, and it isn't that bad, but are y'all saying it's safe to use even in pregnancy? It sure would be nice......... Mommy to Emilee (6) Meagan (3) and new baby, due 12-00 Contribute to the get-us-and-our-innocent-children-out-of-this-terrible-desert fund! Ibuprofen is safe to use in pregnancy except it is not advisable in the last few weeks of pregnancy because it is a blood thinner and that could cause complications during birth. Guest guest
During bfing ibuprofen is okay, but I believe that it is not good for during pregnancy. I'd contact your physician on this one. I remember that some drugs during pregnancy can increase bleeding at delivery, but I'm not sure which classes. Amy Lynn
Guest guest
My understanding is it's ok for nursing, not for pregnancy. I was in Las Vegas with some friends a few weeks ago and had a headache, one of my friends in an RN very up on her meds and she said only tylenol while pregnant. Guest guest
, It is my understanding that ibuprofen should be avoided during pregnancy due to the increased risk of bleeding.
