Guest guest
I added ALA after having my amalgams out 3 months. This was 3 weeks ago. I have been taking DMSA for those three months, 25 mg three days on, every 4 hours hours, one week on, one week off. I added 100 mg of the ALA and did the same for the ALA, but after the ALA, it gave me real bad diarrhea when I was on it fot those three days, and now after 3 weeks of not chelating with the DMSA or ALA, my stomach makes a gargling noise after I eat and feels upset during most of the day. I didn't have this problem till I added the ALA. I really need help because I'm afraid I've made things worse, I am to the pont where I wish I never started this chelation thing. I am still having tooth pain after getting my amalgams out, when i never had any pain. Should I continue to chelate? Couls some please send a link so I could get a hair test to even see if I am poisioned. I feel I may have jumped into this without even know what I got myself into, Thanks. --------------------------------- All-new Yahoo! Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. I have been taking DMSA for those three months, 25 mg three days on, every 4 hours hours, one week on, one week off. I added 100 mg of Incredibly huge dose of ALA. Start with 12.5 mg or less. I have been at 8 mg for a year and 12.5 mg is still too much for me. the ALA and did the same for the ALA, but after the ALA, it gave me real bad diarrhea when I was on it fot those three days, and now after ALA can stir up yeast problems. If you are not addressing gut pathogens, this could be the problem. If you are doing something on that front, you may need to increase antifungals and be more strict about candida diet. 3 weeks of not chelating with the DMSA or ALA, my stomach makes a gargling noise after I eat and feels upset during most of the day. I would not continue with 100 mg ALA. Try 12.5 mg. --
Guest guest
I do have Andy's book, and I did read some of it, some of it was just too much chemistry for me and didn't make sense. I was pretty much talked into do this, as I was told my anxiety wouldn't go away unless the mercury was removed from my body. so I got the amalgams our before I started to chelate. The DMSa didn't seem to bother me. I've all ready read the Moria links, and I thought for my weight, I was allowed up to 100 mg of ALA. I guess i will start at 12.5, with the 25 mg of DMSA three days a week, every 3 hours and four hours at night. I guess I'll do 2 weeks on and one week off. Does that sound right? If you are versed in this stuff, do you know when the stomach symptoms should go away? TK wrote: > > I added ALA after having my amalgams out 3 months. This was 3 weeks ago. I don't know what your weight is, but if you are allowed up to 100 mg ALA that means that would be an appropriate dose at the END of chelation, not at the beginning. It is necessary to start at a low dose at first. As others have mentioned many start with 12.5 mg per dose. I can only take 5 mg per dose. >I guess i will start at 12.5, with the 25 mg of DMSA three days a >week, every 3 hours and four hours at night. I guess I'll do 2 weeks >on and one week off. Does that sound right? If you are versed in this >stuff, do you know when the stomach symptoms should go away? > If the stomach symptoms don't go away you could try 48 h of a fluids only diet (no solids) to give the stomach and intestinal lining a chance to heal. Then you may find that you will need to make changes to your diet. See the diet sections of Andy's Amalgam Illness book. J
