Guest guest
I added ALA after having my amalgams out 3 months. This was 3 weeks ago. I have been taking DMSA for those three months, 25 mg three days on, every 4 hours hours, one week on, one week off. I added 100 mg of the ALA and did the same for the ALA, but after the ALA, it gave me real bad diarrhea when I was on it fot those three days, and now after 3 weeks of not chelating with the DMSA or ALA, my stomach makes a gargling noise after I eat and feels upset during most of the day. I didn't have this problem till I added the ALA. I really need help because I'm afraid I've made things worse, I am to the pont where I wish I never started this chelation thing. I am still having tooth pain after getting my amalgams out, when i never had any pain. Should I continue to chelate? Couls some please send a link so I could get a hair test to even see if I am poisioned. I feel I may have jumped into this without even know what I got myself into, Thanks. --------------------------------- All-new Yahoo! Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. I have been taking DMSA for those three months, 25 mg three days on, every 4 hours hours, one week on, one week off. I added 100 mg of Incredibly huge dose of ALA. Start with 12.5 mg or less. I have been at 8 mg for a year and 12.5 mg is still too much for me. the ALA and did the same for the ALA, but after the ALA, it gave me real bad diarrhea when I was on it fot those three days, and now after ALA can stir up yeast problems. If you are not addressing gut pathogens, this could be the problem. If you are doing something on that front, you may need to increase antifungals and be more strict about candida diet. 3 weeks of not chelating with the DMSA or ALA, my stomach makes a gargling noise after I eat and feels upset during most of the day. I would not continue with 100 mg ALA. Try 12.5 mg. --

Guest guest
I do have Andy's book, and I did read some of it, some of it was just too much chemistry for me and didn't make sense. I was pretty much talked into do this, as I was told my anxiety wouldn't go away unless the mercury was removed from my body. so I got the amalgams our before I started to chelate. The DMSa didn't seem to bother me. I've all ready read the Moria links, and I thought for my weight, I was allowed up to 100 mg of ALA. I guess i will start at 12.5, with the 25 mg of DMSA three days a week, every 3 hours and four hours at night. I guess I'll do 2 weeks on and one week off. Does that sound right? If you are versed in this stuff, do you know when the stomach symptoms should go away? TK wrote: > > I added ALA after having my amalgams out 3 months. This was 3 weeks ago. Guest guest
stomach gargling is most probably yeast in the gut. I've had it myself and the ALA can cause or contribute to yeast, especially on the dose you were on and if you are not on a strict candida diet, you will be particularly vulnerable to having this happen. Candida can be stirred up during chelation by the chelating agents themselves, plus the metals that are being moved through your body. I would advise you to stop taking any chelating agents and address the yeast issues first by adhering to a strict candida diet from this point on until you begin to improve (may take a few weeks) and then starting the chelation again when you are ready and have gotten things under control. And use ALA at a much smaller dose as others have suggested. The candida diet pretty much means NO sugar, NO yeast, NO gluten grains (wheat, oats, barley, rye), NO honey, limit fruit, potatoes and milk ALOT (preferably eliminate them due to their natural sugars) and concentrate on eating things like vegetables, plain acidophilus yoghurt, raw nuts (almonds, brazil), meat, eggs etc. If you are not on this diet already or haven't done it before, and you decide to do this? You could get a die off effect from the candida when you exclude the foods it needs to survive. It will begin to starve and release even more of it's toxins as it dies and you could feel worse for a while. E.g. you may experience some headaches, tiredness, drowsiness, feeling almost drunk (bcause of the yeast alcohols), and other flare ups of symptoms. This die off effect could start almost immediately upon starting the diet, or take a few days to a few weeks to start. Then it can take a few days to a few weeks for the die off to subside and for you to feel better. Antifungals can be used later if the diet alone is not doing enough, but I'd be cautious as they can kill yeast on contact in great numbers, spilling a lot of toxins at once into your blood stream, which can make a person extremely sick. If any of the yeast contains any metals, these too will go into the system. Hence it's best to start with diet and stay with that alone if possible.
