Guest guest
I am having a problem scheduling IEP Meetings with Broward County Schools. They refuse to deal with the parent attorney's office to coordinate dates but instead gives the parent 2 dates to check out with the attorney. Can you tell me of when your child had his/her last IEP and how was the meeting date arranged.
Guest guest
Jess, you failed to mention if you knew the school district policy (written/unwritten) for setting up meetings for IEP. Or is there an ESE Policy? From: sList [mailto:sList ] On Behalf Of Jess Montado Sent: Friday, February 05, 2010 11:30 AM To: sList Cc: gary00001@... Subject: Re: IEP Meeting Scheduling Due to the amount of students and families in need for attorney's offices to be involved in these things, everyone has to find time to schedule a meeting. That may take patience and remembering that there are MANY out there that need assistance. The schools only have so many hours in a day, as well as parents working, and attorney's offices having other meetings. Be patient scheduling is and will forever be a hard thing to iron out when so many entities are involved.
