I also think that you can sometimes save a cold process seize by cooking it.

However, I have to differ on the point about the seizing in hot process - I

know it can happen. I cooked a batch until it was a bit dry - usually the

sign that it's about done cooking. When I added my FO, the soap started

climbing out of the pot! Faster than hair on fire (don't ask how I know

about that)!! *L* I stirred it as fast as I could, to cool it down and

incorporate the FO, but I lost a bunch of soap down the drain - up and out

of the pot, luckily I got it to the sink! It was a bit separated and

cottage cheesy. I don't think it's very good, it seems to have a couple of

lye spots (or at least very harsh soap - I tongue tested the spots).
