Guest guest
you need to contact your local Developmental Disabilities office - you apply through them, not through Medicaid. You can look up online florida ADP (www.apd.myflorida.com) and find your local office and ask them about applying. The waiver is extra beyond medicaid and covers things medicaid doesn’t, however there is a long wait list for the waiver, so call soon! Good luck. From: yane_carlos@... I was told by the Medicaid office that since he has Medicaid they can't put him on the Medicaid waiver waiting list. They sound like they didn't know what Medwaiver Medicaid was. He qualifies now for Medicaid but in the future if I get a raise at work or something like that he will not qualify anymore. That's why I wanted him to have the Medwaiver Medicaid in the future.I need advice please.Thank You!!!
Guest guest
Thats not true...we are on the wait list which is 7.5 yrs long I am told...4 yr minimum. We have a private insurer as well. Would you mind if I ask how you got SSI? You might not want to stir the pot...my mistake! I didn't lose yet though I might have to get a divorce to keep it. When you call just ask to apply for the waiver. Do not offer up any additional information until the ask for it directly. Guest guest
I used to use Dr. Sherman. Then I was advised 2 yrs ago that they no longer accept Medicaid, not even Medipass. So, back to NovaSoutheastern if you have Medicaid. To: sList Sent: Mon, January 25, 2010 3:32:56 PMSubject: Re: Medwaiver Medicaid Application Question We use Dr Sherman in Davie off of Rd.
