Cytomel & thyrovine dose: clarification

To clarify on dosages of cytomel:

It comes in dosages of 5mcg, 25mcg and 50mcg. There are no decimal points

in Cytomel dosages.

Also, levothyroxine (Levoxyl, Unithroid, Levothroid, Synthroid) is listed

as 0.15 mg = 150 mcg.

The statement below would more accurately read: 100 mcg of Cytmel (T3) is

equal to 400 mcg of levothyroxine (T4).

Your concerns about the high dose were right on. :)

It is uncommon to be on more the 75 mcg Cytomel while hypo as evidenced in

Dr. Ain's post.
