Dear ,I have looked through the newsletters and Dave has an article on fish oils in the June 2005 newsletter, Vol 1 Issue 6.He explains in an understandable way just how they might help by being anti-inflammatory.I think it might be good to chart just who is using what brand, where they buy it, if it has improved their labs and if they are naturally stable with no fish taste. This would be helpful to all of our new members.LeeI did a search on this site and did find a lot of info on this subject. I guess it has been a hot topic in the past. Thanks,

I was in a " fish oil " study at Mayo for Crohn's

disease. I have a mild to moderate case of Crohn's

and I was taking fish oil supplements prior to the

study. For Crohn's, the fish oil is was studied for

it's ability to assist in maintaining a state of

remission. This study was performed by Dr. Loftus and

Dr. Sanborn.

I have continued a fish oil supplement (AdvoCare)

since completing the study in the Spring of 2005. In

August 2005, I was diagnosed with PCS and I continue

to take the fish oil supplement. Unfortunately, I

can't tell you if there is any benefit for my PSC.
