scar treatment

Hello,

I thought I'd mention my favorite wound treatment that

I am currently experimenting with. I can't vouch for

its effectiveness with scars, but perhaps I will be

able to in a few weeks/months.

I'm using honey (buy local!), a pain reliever that is

antiseptic, antibiotic, healthy, and inexpensive. It

also helps keep the wound moist, which I've heard

helps to promote healing. I dab it on to my scar and

touch a piece of gauze on top of it so that it doesn't

stick to my shirt (it still sticks a little), and I'm

ready to go. No fuss and only a little muss.

For the person who said that his/her mother's

radiation treatments are giving her a rash: Honey

would be my recommendation for that as well. It's an

oldie but a goody!

Sylvia
