Hi Dave & Ken,

The Pittman book is where I found that info. It has a fairly lengthy

section in it (as I recall, about 10 pages) on Silkworth's belladonna

cure and 's " spiritual awakening " under its influence. Other

than that there's not much of interest in the book, which is very

much pro-AA. Why Pittman included that potentially embarrassing

info yet carefully sanitized the info on the Oxford Groups is beyond

me. But, fortunately, he did include it.
