Guest guest
I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I can just see him grabbing the milk !!! Still waiting to see if my taste comes back. maybe it will be as slow as it went away ??? I would cut down on the tabasco expense, and that big of a bottle doesn't fit on a spice shelf. :-) I often enjoyed the vision of people in a taste test situation, having to taste PUT. = :-o It must be if a doctor is checking someone's taste buds ? -Pam- who is still planning on expanding the size of my garlic bed this season. Guest guest
I don't taste anything fishy either - although it has only been a couple of days that I have been taking them. Amy Re: OT - Good Omega 3 supplements? , I cannot taste anything fishy at all. My Mom swears that I'm seasoning food that I cook too heavily...and I've read that our tastebuds can be affected by ATD's...so maybe that is why I don't taste anything fishy??? Just guessing! Guest guest
Fish is not vegetable, so there IS cholesterol. Vegetable fats simply don't contain any. Your body makes cholesterol, too. Guest guest
The Mercola site Jody gave us the URL to says that if fish oil tastes fishy, it's old and rancid. Recommends buying at a place where the turnover is fast, like Costco. Guest guest
yes, that's where I got mine. It doesn't taste fishy going down, but it tends to send reminders for the next couple of hours :-( I'm going to dump it and try some flax oil! Pam B. Guest guest
Yes, I tend to " burp " a cod liver oil taste about an hour after I take it, but it doesn't last long. Heck, that's nothing compared to the taste of PTU! Still, has anyone else noticed not that they can't taste anymore, but that things don't taste RIGHT any more? I wonder if I pick up little subtle undertones of flavors that I didn't before, or if there is some kind of chemical reaction in me that changes the way things taste? This has been going on really since I started ATDs. At first I thought it was the PTU, but I've been on methimazole now for 5 months, and it doesn't taste bad.
