Guest guest
My son is 11 months old and has been wearing his DOCband (for plagiocephaly) for 2 months. His head is flat on the right side and had a pretty decent bump on the left side. During the past 2 months, we have seen great correction of the bump, but the flatness remains. While I expect that it will take another 2 months to round out the flatness, I was told yesterday that the best correction generally occurs within the first 2 months because the band tends to get " stretched out " over time. Now I am considering whether or not to have him casted for a new band so we can get the best correction possible over the next few months -- or do we wait until he outgrows his current band and go from there? mom to Owen
