Miami-Dade: Looking for School

Hello eveyrone

My son qualifies for the Mckay Scholarship. He is currently in 3rd grade in the

Miami Gardens area. His school has been labeled " In Need of Improvement " and I

have the option to change schools. My question is, how am I able to find which

public schools accept the Mckay Scholarshiip?? and if any one can recommend an

elementary for high functioning autistic kids in Miami. PLEASE HELP WITH

DIRECTION.

The McKay Scholarship can be used in Counties other than the one where you

reside. We live in Broward and our son once went to a Dade school using McKay.

You can also choose a public school in an adjacent County.

The public school you choose has to have space for your child.

attend a different public school in your district, attend a public school in an

adjacent district, or receive a scholarship to attend a participating private

I hope Lake Forest changed because I had to take them to due process a few years back and pulled my child from there.
