Blessed Be to all the trolls/now lets get better

I seem to have joined this list at an interesting/pretty boring

time.It started with the mental cholesterol debate over exactly who,

what, why ,and when the term " blessed be " may be properly used.Then

there seems to be an ongoing name calling debate as well as some good

" sharing " about our experiences in the rooms.

I left because I had recognized a behavior pattern of futility and

dependence on others to an unhealthy extreme.I questioned things for

the first time and the answer was HUH? Sometimes I read the posts on

this list and see just a touch of the close-mindedness I have

recently left behind.In life people tend to be a little good and a

little bad depending on a lot of circumstances.I try to focus on the

in-between and realize that's probably the real deal(unless the bad

involves you know real bad) There are hypocrites at the church and

the gas station, yet I still go to the Sunoco to fill up the tank.

Wednesday I go to my final meeting,I am starting night school on

Monday and have no time for it all.I had cut my meetings down to one

a week as I break free and expand my social circle with " earth

people " LOL I will not miss the particular clubhouse I attend because

I came to realize that AA is a breeding ground for sexual predators

and sociopaths who prey upon vulnerable women and do more damage than

alcohol ever does.This is all excused away with " Live and Let Live "

as opposed to soceity(except for Clinton) where we are expected to

live by certain values and be responsible.

I'm happy to discuss anything on it's merits,with anyone,at any

time.To me it's important not to raise my voice but to raise the

level of discussion.Name calling is for children,and it's even more

childish to argue who started it.Let's talk about positive change and

what we can do to change things.(not that it isn't discussed ,please

don't quote past posts ad nauseum)
