Guest guest
Hey Carol. Keep me updated on the processing information. Did he have alot of ear infections. Its important to make sure that the pediatrician does a tympanogram at the office every time, you do not want any fluid in those ears at all. Speech sounds good especially the imitation. Imitation is your foundation for language as well as object permanence and receptive language. Keep giving him simple directons to follow and wait a second or two for him to responds, such as get _____, give me _____. My nephew had alot of sensory issues and he is 6 now and they are pretty much gone. We did lots of massage, brushing and trampoline work. If Dominik is a seeker than I would do lots of deep massage and joint compressions with him. There is a great book the out of sync child that explains alot of sensory issues, have you heard of it. Good luck. If I can be of any help let me know. Debbie and brielle > > > > > > > > > Thanks to you all for your replies.
