Besides Visual Scan, How is cea Diagnosed?

I basically diagnosed myself when I stumbled across the NRS web site

and found that I had all the symptoms listed. I then went to a derm

who said, " Yeah, sure it looks like it could be rosacea... " Is there

not a more definitive way to diagnose rosacea? Has anyone else

besides this member below gotten a skin biopsy to diagnose their case

of rosacea?
