Guest guest
<I received so many bars of MP soap at Christmas time that I thought I'd like to cube them up and add them to my CP soaps. Is that possible? Has anyone else done that? Will they adher to each other? I don't want the cubes of MP to fall out. Is it hard to cut through if you use a log mold? Or would individual molds work best? Any thoughts on this? > It works great but don't use too much melt and pour to CP - melt and pour tends to " melt " a bit faster in the shower and if you're doing lots of chunks in the CP, you end up getting holes and the bar gets flimsy and kinda looks like Swiss Cheese (which may or may not be a selling point depending on how excellant you can market !LOL!) If you're using a log mold, just cut your bars after a week or two - when it's not too hard but still not so soft that the bars will " cushion " underneath the knife. I don't like using individual molds with Cp (but I do all the time when I run out my test containers) simply because I don't like to wait the extra few days to pop the soap out of the molds (what can I say? I'm one impatient girl!) =) Anne-Marie Bramble Berry -- Liquid Soap is here! $35 per gallon! www.brambleberry.com
