Guest guest Posted June 30, 2010 Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 Helen, My children all have CMS and we live in Broward. Overall I have no complaints about CMS they cover the majority of things. I have run into a lil of bind for instance there isn't an E.N.T on the plan you have to get a referral submit to CMS and then a board determines if your child really needs to see one before they grant it. As for a dermatologist the ONLY one on the plan is Nova but it's a clinic ran by residents etc. If I can be of any help just email me. Good luck! What do you mean "here is called Ped I care" How did you find out Ped I care here is called CMS? My child was on CMS for years and we were so afraid to make a move out of State because no one knew what that was. ...it wasn't medicaid and it wasn't private.
