One Autistic Son bit the other and no tetnus shot

Hi, one of my sons bit his brother and neither of them have had their tetnus

shot. I didn't want them to have the shot but my pediatrician told me if they

got cut or bitten they would need the shot. Is that true, I really don't want

him to have the shot but if he needs it I will.
