Guest guest
Hi, Im fairly new here. I was diagnosed with auto immune hepatitis in 1979 at the age of 17, Ive had a few ups and downs and was transplanted in 2000 at Kings college hospital, London,England. Last year in March I was diagnosed as having ulcerative colitis which effected my whole colon, I dont need to tell you guys how awful it was untill medication kicked in and it was safe to leave the house. I moved house to a new area and changed hospital and Doctors, now all my care is in Cambridge (England) My liver consultant suspects PSC and my gastroenterologist is doing a colonoscopy in a couple of weeks time. What I want to know is, what confirms or decides if I have Psc or not? will my medication have to change? Im currently on tacrolimus (anti rejection) Azothiaprine(immuno suppresion) pentasa(mesalazine), Spironalactone (diuretic) and lansoprazole. I feel well, but tired am working almost full time. I would welcome anyones thoughts, suggestions
