Guest guest
Hi Stacey, WHat type of band is it? With a DOCband what they put over their head is like the material nylons are made of, so they can see through it. The do a cut out for the mouth though. It only takes about 10 minutes total for putting it on and letting it dry enough to pull it off. Is the casting a week from today then? It takes another week to two weeks for the band to come in after that. , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma http://hannahsnoggin.typepad.com > > just thought i would pop in and say hello to everyone. it has > > been a good long while since i have updated kathryn. > > she is doing great. for anyone who has worries over the band > > affecting the baby's intellingence let me reassure you it > > doesn't!!!! kathryn is smart as a whip. she can count to 13, > > recognizes all her numbers (primary), knows all her primary colors > > and shapes as well....no i am not bragging...lol. now if we could > > just get out of the tantrum phase!!! > > i have been reading some on the boards and trying to keep up but > > ya'll are growing so much. i was really disappointed like many > > others about the people article and was glad to see the rebuttle > > letters from some of the parents printed in this weeks issue. > > If you are the praying kind keep kathryn in your prayers as we > > have been told she may end up having surgery on her mouth. the > > little thingy..(yup that's my medical term) that holds her tongue > to > > her mouth...does that make sense???...is too short and it may > affect > > her speech later so the doctor is talking about clipping it. he > said > > it was a minor surgery but nothing is minor when it comes to > > knocking my baby out and cutting on her!!! > > so that's where we are at now. her head looks absolutely > > fantastic, we are about to celebrate a year post grad!!!! and if we > > had to do it all over again we would. > > good luck to everyone. may all you babies be rounding!! > > > > in Texas > > mom to 9/7/03 DocGrad 7/04 > > Plagio/Brachy/Tort > > > > > For more plagio info
