Guest guest
, He is cute If insurance is paying for it I'd really recommend doing it. I'm sooo jealous! I'm spending the evening working on our appeal! Both times our children got their bands it really was such a relief to us. We had spent so much time deciding and then changing our minds. When the bands came in everything was in motion and we knew the problem was being corrected. Take a peek at Cece's before and after DOC Band pictures in the files section. I didn't think she was that bad until the befores were compared to the afters. You can really notice how much the ears realigned and the forehead bossing corrected. Let us know what you decide. Guest guest
That is great your insurance pays 100% I too am one of the perons struggling paying and trying to get insurance to pay. Anyway more importantly I looked at the pictures and I'd agree he does have flattening in the back. My son, Chase has the same but Chase has a more severe right side flattening. I have to tell you the adjustment to the band has been so easy. Basically there was no adjustment I've have to say. From day 1 he was absolutely perfect. Tuesday will be 14 days in the DOCband (banded at slightly over 6 months) and he's doing great. Believe it or not in the first week I saw improvement. And it's funny we look at our babies and they look perfect with flat spots and all but I do have to say now that it's starting to correct and I look at the before pictures it's looking worse and worse to me. Chase has really thick curly hair so it wasn't noticable all the time. I wanted to ask too does your baby have torticollis? Because I know with that whatever correction could happen naturally with tort. I don't think any correction is possible. Most babies with plagio. have tort. Best of luck. I know it's a touch choice but I agree once you decide and know you're moving in a positive direction you'll feel better. Sherry Chase (6 1/2 months) tort. Guest guest
, The areas that still need correction are the toughest without a band, the fact that his growth will be slowing down soon, and the bonus of 100% coverage would tell me to go for it.
