Whatthis means to all of you is that children with autism will not have the #1crisis priority, instead it will be given to foster children first. I wouldhighly encourage all of you to try and attend one of the meetings around thestate or submit comments as to why you think this is unfair.

APD to hold Workshops TALLAHASSEE - The Agency for Person with Disabilities (APD) wants to hear from the public during four rule workshops being held around the state in May. A proposal filed by representatives of children in community-based care (foster care) will be reviewed during the rulemaking public hearings in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, and Tallahassee. The primary change in the proposed rule is moving children in foster care to the top of the crisis priority, rather than being second in priority as it is today.

Citizen input is welcome during these meetings. The schedule is as follows: . Ft Lauderdale May 12, 6 - 8 p.m. APD Conference Room 201 West Broward Blvd. Ft.
