Guest guest
Welcome all newbies! I've learned a lot just reading about everybody's experiences, and I've had FM for over 10 years, so I'm really glad to have found this list. Regarding supplements, it is important to get them checked out with your healthcare people for interactions. I was glad that the supplements I take are okay with my meds. I take CoQ10+L-Carnatine every day and it REALLY helps with the fatigue. Plus I take Cranactin every day (a concentrated cranberry extract) and I haven't had a urinary tract infection in years though I used to get really bad ones all the time.... the immune system thing I think. I've had to send in some poo samples and am sort of nervously awaiting the results, praying they don't make me get a colonoscopy or endoscopy again. Those were really bad for me. Because I take such heavy medication on a daily basis, the people giving the test just didn't get that I needed MORE sedation than the normal person, no matter what I said. So I felt every single bit of the procedures and was screaming and fighting and it was really ugly. Then of course they blamed me for being a bad patient. It was like being subjected to some alien probes or something. ewww. Going to bed early tonight, hope to get some things done in the way of errands tomorrow. love, Rasmama (Vimala)
