My son, Ethan, was diagnosed yesterday with Severe Pos.

Plagiocephaly. So, we are going to Dallas to Cranial Tech to get his

helmet done. It is an 8 hour trip from our home in Baton Rouge, LA.

I am looking for cheap travel ways, as well as good hotels to stay at

in Dallas REALLY CLOSE to the cranial tech place. Not too sure about

driving 8 hours one way with a 7mth old child in the back seat -

probably wailing away. Does anyone have any suggestions on alternate

travel (ie Greyhound, etc)? I appreciate any advise you guys can

give. Thanks!

Hi ! My son Braden is a brachy baby with some plagio. He was STARbanded 02/17/06 and is 4 1/2 months old. Anyway, we live in Houston and I am from Baton Rouge. We moved here a little over 2 years ago. I will be the first to tell you the drive is dreadfull but there are lots of places to stop along the way. It takes us about 5 hours to get from Houston to BR and Braden does fairly well on the trip as long as someone is in the backseat with him. Have you considered a flight? Will you be traveling alone? We usually find some pretty good ticket prices on Southwest going from NO to Houston. I would assume you could find something similar going to Dallas. At the same time, I completely understand not spending the money with the upcoming helmet and travel expenses. Anyway, good luck to you and Ethan.
