Hello,

My son Tanner was banded at 4 months 3 weeks and has been in his

band for 5 weeks. He's completely outgrowing the band and got his

last adjustment yesterday. Now I have one week to decide whether

or not we continue treatment with band #2. His measurements are as

follows:

Original Measurements as of 1/6/2006:

Cranial Vault Asymmetry: 22mm

Mid-Face Asymmetry (eyes): 6mm

Skull-Base Asymmetry (ears): 8mm

Current measurements as of 2/21/2006:

Cranial Vault Asymmetry: 10mm

Mid-Face Asymmetry (eyes): 4mm

Skull-Base Asymmetry (ears): 4mm

I also posted his before and after pictures under " T " but I don't

see them. Maybe it takes a while for them to upload onto the

site????

I'm so torn on making " another decision " . We are extremely happy

with his results but know his Asymmetry's can improve even more if

we continue treatment for another 4-6 weeks. The 10mm Asymmetry

concerns us as we'd hope for all measurements to be less than 6mm

(considered mild). We have great insurance so money isn't an

issue. Little Tanner is totally adjusted to the band and so is the

family so that's not an issue as well. I guess our only issue is;

are we being too critical and wanting too much perfection by

choosing band #2. I would appreciate any and all the advice I can

get.
