My daughter's 1st helmet was the star band and she had major rashes with that helmet. To the point of going into the hospital. We had to use a prescription steriod cream to help her and then I just could not see her in that much misery from the itching. I decided to switch helmets and go with the doc band from cranial tech. We have no rashes and no problems. I starting to wonder if its different material the helmets are made out of. My daughter had ezceme too but with the new helmet nothing. Just thoughts. Good luck and Ive been there and it will get better. > > Jenifer- mother of Ellie Rose -14 months with 3rd helmet. > Hi Jen! Thanks for the info. I'm keeping a close eye on his head. I can't figure out what is causing the rashes- he's had 2 now. Just last week he was diagnosed with eczema on his body, so I'm wondering if they're related? I do spot checks during the day now, and feel like we're on top of it. I just hated having him out of the helmet for so long while the rashes cleared up. Thanks again!
